What the annual roadworthiness test checks

Most cars fail the test over small things that take minutes to fix.

• Check every light, the brake lights and indicators included.
• Replace the wipers if they leave streaks.
• Look at the tyres — the tread depth and cracks on the sidewalls.
• If the engine light is on, come for a diagnostic before the test.
